A girl visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers said Tuesday.
The 25-year-old lady, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a news release from the park.
The lady approached the female bison Monday morning after it got here near a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Old Trustworthy geyser, the park stated.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison stay on the park, and they have injured extra people than another animal, the park said.
When the visitor came within 10 feet of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 feet in the air, the park stated.
The lady had puncture wounds and different accidents and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service mentioned. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two other individuals were additionally close to the animal when it gored the girl, the park stated. The discharge didn’t say in the event that they had been injured.
The park warned people to remain 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and no less than 100 yards from bears and wolves.
