The household of an 11-year-old woman who survived the bloodbath at Robb Elementary College in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader played dead after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother mentioned the 4th grader is struggling to cope and telling them what she witnessed throughout the taking pictures.

"Around midnight my sister-in-law called me and she was just crying, like 'I think it simply hit Miah. I think every part got here to reality now,'" stated Blanca Rivera.

Rivera mentioned Miah's teacher, Irma Garcia, was one of the two academics killed. Her pals and classmates were additionally targeted.

Rivera mentioned that's when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah bought some blood and put it on herself so she may fake she was useless," stated Rivera.
