Juveniles Crash Stolen Automotive Close to White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen car right into a concrete security barrier close to the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to pull over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automotive slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials stated.

Video reveals a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance throughout the street from a Secret Service guard post, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the highway.

There have been two juveniles in the car. Each had been taken to a hospital and are now in secure condition, officers stated. We do not know their precise ages.

They’re anticipated to face expenses.

D.C. police are investigating.
