Nine Shot, One Lifeless in San Bernardino County – NBC Los Angeles

One individual was killed and eight others were injured Friday evening when pictures have been fired at a big social gathering at a strip mall hookah lounge in the San Bernardino County community of Highland.

The capturing in the city east of San Bernardino was reported simply earlier than midnight within the 3600 block of East Highland Avenue. Officers encountered a large crowd of about 100 individuals within the area for a party at a hookah lounge.

A capturing victim located exterior died on the scene. A girl at the scene who identified herself because the sufferer's grandmother stated he's 20 years old.

The motive for the shooting is under investigation, police said.

No arrests were reported. Detailed descriptions of the shooters weren't immediately out there.

Highland is just east of San Bernardino on the base of the San Bernardino Mountains.
