Comic Dave Chappelle was attacked onstage Tuesday night time as he performed at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl area, with movies from viewers members' cellphones quickly flooding social media and exhibiting a person seem to run onto the stage and sort out the comedian.

Comic Chris Rock was on the show, and jokingly requested if the attacker was Will Smith — who made headlines by bounding up on stage and slapping Rock on the Academy Awards in March.

Chappelle drew a pointy rebuke late final year from the transgender neighborhood for jokes at their expense featured in his newest Netflix special, "The Nearer," which premiered in October.
