Teen arrested after mother observed son had gun at Texas school drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Grey News) - A number of agencies responded to a center school in Texas Friday morning after a teenager’s mother seen he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mother was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Center School round 9 a.m. when she seen the firearm. The teen by no means made it contained in the building, and he ran from the school.
The Lubbock Police Department responded to the world together with several other businesses in an attempt to search out him.
The teen was found near the school’s campus and taken into custody.
Authorities said the 15-year-old may very well be going through a felony weapons cost.
