The Uvalde Police Department and the Uvalde Independent School District police pressure are not cooperating with the Texas Department of Public Security's investigation into the bloodbath at Robb Elementary School and the state's overview of the legislation enforcement response, a number of regulation enforcement sources tell ABC Information.

The Uvalde police chief and a spokesperson for the Uvalde Independent School District didn't instantly respond to requests for remark from ABC Information.

In line with sources, the choice to cease cooperating occurred quickly after the director of DPS, Col. Steven McCraw, held a information conference Friday throughout which he mentioned the delayed police entry into the classroom was "the unsuitable choice" and contrary to protocol.
