Teen arrested after mom noticed son had gun at Texas faculty drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Grey News) - Several companies responded to a center faculty in Texas Friday morning after a youngster’s mother noticed he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mom was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Center School round 9 a.m. when she seen the firearm. The teen by no means made it inside the building, and he ran from the college.
The Lubbock Police Department responded to the world along with several different businesses in an attempt to find him.
The teen was found close to the college’s campus and taken into custody.
Authorities mentioned the 15-year-old could be going through a felony weapons charge.
Police say there was no threat made to the school or anybody inside the varsity.
O.L. Slaton Middle College was briefly placed on lockout because of the incident.
