DALLAS - The excessive court will allow a wrongful demise lawsuit to proceed towards the city of Dallas and 4 police officers.

The household of a man who died in police custody in 2016 sued.

Tony Timpa referred to as police for help as he had a drug and psychological health disaster.

Town of Dallas argued the officers are legally protected against lawsuits.

The Supreme Court docket upheld a federal appeals court docket’s ruling that will enable the case to proceed.
