Students walk out of colleges in protest of gun violence

Days after no less than 19 elementary college students and two lecturers have been killed in a mass taking pictures at an elementary college in Uvalde, Texas, college students at schools across the country staged walkouts to protest gun violence.

"You see news every day about kids getting shot and folks your age dying and it's just incredibly unhappy and unbelievable, especially to see like kids younger and youngsters my age," Janoff told ABC News. "I cant imagine that being me; however it's conceivable because it happens so typically."

The 17 year-old says her school's administration was in help of the walkout and she or he hopes the over 200 planned demonstrations across the nation send a clear message that students are a "united entrance."
