Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten zügig den Wert einer bevorzugten Positionierung in Serps und recht bald entstanden Anstalt, die sich auf die Optimierung professionellen. In Anfängen erfolgte die Aufnahme oft zu der Übertragung der URL der richtigen Seite bei der diversen Suchmaschinen im WWW. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Kritische Auseinandersetzung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Internetpräsenz auf den Web Server der Anlaufstelle, wo ein 2. Programm, der die bekannten Indexer, Angaben herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Ansprüche, Links zu anderweitigen Seiten). Die frühen Typen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Infos, die mit den Webmaster sogar existieren worden sind, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Eindruck mit Thema einer Seite, doch setzte sich bald herab, dass die Einsatz er Vorschläge nicht ordentlich war, da die Wahl der genutzten Schlagworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Vorführung des Seiteninhalts sonstige Verben konnte. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in den Meta-Elementen vermochten so irrelevante Unterseiten bei speziellen Benötigen listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller mehrere Attribute im Laufe des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu lenken, dass die Seite überlegen in Resultaten gefunden wird.[3] Da die neuzeitlichen Internet Suchmaschinen sehr auf Kriterien dependent waren, die alleinig in Händen der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr empfänglich für Abusus und Manipulationen in der Positionierung. Um tolle und relevantere Vergleichsergebnisse in Suchergebnissen zu bekommen, mussten wir sich die Inhaber der Suchmaschinen an diese Umständen angleichen. Weil der Gelingen einer Suchseiten davon abhängig ist, wichtigste Suchergebnisse zu den gestellten Suchbegriffen anzuzeigen, konnten unangebrachte Testergebnisse zur Folge haben, dass sich die Benützer nach sonstigen Möglichkeiten für den Bereich Suche im Web umgucken. Die Auskunft der Suchmaschinen im WWW fortbestand in komplexeren Algorithmen fürs Rangfolge, die Aspekte beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur nicht leicht steuerbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin entworfenen mit „Backrub“ – dem Stammvater von Suchmaschinen – eine Suchseite, die auf einem mathematischen Matching-Verfahren basierte, der anhand der Verlinkungsstruktur Unterseiten gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus eingehen ließ. Auch weitere Suchmaschinen im Internet orientiert in der Folgezeit die Verlinkungsstruktur bspw. als der Linkpopularität in ihre Algorithmen mit ein. Yahoo search
Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
