Russian spy aircraft violates Swedish air space

A Russian reconnaissance aircraft briefly violated Sweden’s airspace on Friday, Swedish defense officers stated on Saturday, as the Scandinavian nation ponders a bid for NATO membership after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“A Russian AN-30 propeller airplane violated Swedish airspace on Friday evening,” the Swedish defense ministry stated in a statement, including that its groups had followed the incident and photographed it.
The ministry stated the aircraft was flying east of Bornholm, a Danish island in the Baltic, earlier than it headed toward Swedish territory.
“It is completely unacceptable to violate Swedish airspace,” public tv SVT quoted Protection Minister Peter Hultqvist as saying.
“This motion is unprofessional and given the general safety state of affairs very inappropriate. Swedish sovereignty should always be revered.”
