New York sex employee Angelina Barini sentenced to 30 years for fatally drugging 4 men

The pattern was almost an identical.

Between July and August 2019, intercourse worker Angelina Barini met with her clients at motels in New York Metropolis before giving them harmful doses of medicine that incapacitated them. Then, she would rob the boys and depart with their private belongings.

Four of them, including a distinguished Italian chef, died of overdoses from the medication, court docket data state.

In August, Barini pleaded guilty to distributing medication that killed her clients, including fentanyl and gamma-butyrolactone, identified for causing irrational conduct, extreme sickness, coma and dying.

Last week, a judge sentenced the 43-year-old Barini to 30 years in prison.

“The defendant drugged and killed a number of individuals for just a few fast dollars,” Breon Peace, the U.S. legal professional for the Japanese District of New York, said in a information release. “She stole their private belongings while they lay unconscious dying from the deadly medicine she gave them.”

Barini met her first sufferer at a motel in Astoria, Queens, on July 4, 2019. There, she gave the man fentanyl-laced medication and left the room. Police found him useless hours later, court data state.

Every week later, on July 11, Barini had an encounter with one other man at a motel in Woodside, Queens, the place she gave him fentanyl-laced medicine. The man also died of a drug overdose, a criticism states.

The subsequent month, on Aug. 5, Barini met her third victim in College Point, Queens, and again gave him fentanyl-laced medication that led to a deadly overdose, prosecutors said.

Later that month, on Aug. 18, Barini met her last known victim, Andrea Zamperoni — a chef for the high-end restaurant chain Cipriani — inside an Elmhurst, Queens, motel room, the place she drugged him with gamma-butyrolactone, commonly often known as a “date rape” drug. The person died shortly afterward.

That day, courtroom information state, Barini repeatedly tried to eliminate the victim’s body. Barini wrapped Zamperoni’s physique in bleach-stained sheets and positioned it inside a trash bin, in keeping with prosecutors. Zamperoni was reported missing on Aug. 21, prosecutors stated. That same day, the New York City Police Department found the man’s physique within the motel room.

Fernando Dallorso, the final manager of Cipriani in New York, informed the New York Instances that Zamperoni was a “dedicated arduous employee” who cooked six days every week and “never missed a day of labor.”

The kitchen staff mourned the loss, Dallorso told the Times.

“Everyone within the kitchen right now's heartbroken, from the dishwasher to the chef,” Dallorso said.
