BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A man was arrested Friday after a number of indicators saying "college shooter" have been present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Security announced. Guy Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces multiple expenses.

Hanson allegedly placed the indicators around the communities, the Division of Safety mentioned, but they decided there is no such thing as a credible menace at the moment.
The New Hampshire Department of Security is investigating signs that read 'faculty shooter!' which were present in multiple communities New Hampshire Department of SafetyOne such signal was written on a paper plate. The safety division released a photo of the plate but blurred part of it "to protect the integrity of the investigation."
Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of felony threatening and three misdemeanor fees including false report back to law enforcement, false public alarm and criminal threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a listening to scheduled for Tuesday.
No other suspects have been charged at the moment.
