Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Near White Home: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automotive right into a concrete security barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the automotive about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automotive slammed into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers said.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled in the front throughout the road from a Secret Service guard post, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the road.

There have been two juveniles in the car. Each were taken to a hospital and at the moment are in steady condition, officers said. We do not know their actual ages.

They’re anticipated to face fees.

D.C. police are investigating.
