HAMILTON (Mercer) — A police chief from Burlington County now dealing with DWI charges in Mercer County was lying down in the street behind his pickup truck, keys and cellular phone strewn close by — as seen in physique digital camera footage from the April arrest.
The video reveals what happened after police caught up with Bordentown Police Chief Brian Pesce, who was been charged with crashing his vehicle and fleeing the scene earlier in the night.

Pesce disputes that he had been driving, saying “Nobody was driving.”
He was promoted to chief in 2018, after 20 years with Bordentown police, following the resignation of disgraced former Bordentown Police Chief Frank Nucera.
