10 injured, 3 regulation enforcement officials hurt after gunfire erupts in Charleston, S.C.

“There’s a variety of weapons that were fired. Handguns, lengthy weapons, 223 rounds. Those suspects were identified as Ayesha McGee and Tahira McGee, NBC affiliate of WCBD of Charleston reported, citing reports from the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office. 

Ayesha McGee was charged with third-degree assault and battery and Tahira McGee with second-degree assault and battery and resisting arrest. 

Officials stated more arrests are expected.

Officials mentioned South Avenue from Nassau Street to Drake Avenue and America Avenue from Reid Road to Mary Street within the space will stay closed to process the capturing scene.

The mayor condemned gun violence within the metropolis and across the nation, a nod to the Buffalo, New York, supermarket capturing and the Uvalde, Texas, faculty taking pictures.
